As a design manager, I recruit and guide teams through creating branded design systems and prototypes. A designer myself, I place my typography, color and layout design skills in the context of UX best practices and find ways to engage users in easily understandable interfaces and interactions.
I believe that a collaborative and iterative work style that leverages input from users and product owners leads to intuitive, strategically aligned digital experiences. My design process starts with discovering users’ needs, defining business requirements and design problems, followed by ideation, prototyping and testing ideas. Eventually, UI elements and interaction patterns are documented to ensure consistency of a visual language.
Most recently I led a team of designers through Esurance rebrand and development of a new design system that supports UI and business goals. During the process I particularly enjoyed getting a deep understanding of the product and marketing perspectives and combining them with user testing results. The newly established UI and brand guidelines are being integrated into purchase and policyholder apps, website, direct marketing emails, LPs and digital advertising increasing purchase intent and customer satisfaction.
