Balancing usability and aesthetics I design engaging visual systems, websites, multimedia and collateral that effectively communicate clients' goals and brand strategy. With a background in corporate, agency and freelance settings, I look forward to an opportunity to work with different teams integrating content with the latest technology to create a clear presentation of a product that encourages exploration.
Translated the leading national insurance company's annual reports from print to web-presence. Defined interaction system and content organization. The added 2010 features include dynamic slide highlights presentation.

For the first 2009 Delta Dental electronic annual report I was asked to create an animated introduction to convey the main message. This is followed by a detailed presentation of company's accomplishments.
I created MySmilekids branding system and graphic style and was responsible for design and coding of all pages and interactive features of the website. It is the Graphic Design USA Magazine and W3 Gold Award winner.
An online vintage store. Working closely with the founders, I provided original photography and visual design that brings out the unique in the stylish merchandise. I also produced the website.
My personal website intended as a tour through artistic landscapes and moods. I utilized various ways of expression including music and creative animation to create a multimedia showcase.
The website functions as a promotional medium for the local stores in the context of the objectives of the organization. I used cultural background imagery to reinforce the message, provided photography and development.
A high-traffic website served the print house for eight years combining product and company presentation, and guiding the user through a clear ordering and upload process. My role was interaction/visual design and development.

Tricare Retiree Dental Program presentation featured on the enterprise portal. I applied interactivity and a clean design style to convey the logistics of the plans to the senior audience and produced the website.
Samples of landing pages and online newsletters that reached a multi-million audience of subscribers, brokers and benefits managers. Within the branding guidelines I developed a unique style for each campaign.

Featured on MySmilekids site as part of the wellness initiative, the quiz uses a scoring system, a talking cartoon character and animation to add fun to the educational process. I provided visual design.
Created for Sales Representatives for use at the finalist client pitch PowerPoint presentations and narrated by a Delta Dental Senior Sales Executive. I designed and produced the video animation.
For several years I was asked to design and produce Delta Dental holiday cards representing the company to millions of subscribers and clients. Each time I applied a new creative approach to come up a graceful, dynamic look.
The wellness initiative was created to add value to Delta Dental insurance. I designed corporate website features, such as the program splash page and health videos that I art directed and supplied with motion graphics.
The customizable benefits presentation and testimonials for use by the Sales Representatives in the client pitch presentations. I designed motion graphics for the first one and created storyboards and edited the testimonials.
The booklet was the central tool for Mission Economic Development Agency fundraising effort to support the Plaza Adelante Project. I created MEDA identity system and carried it through event promotion and newsletters.

San Francisco Buy Local Campaign, a MEDA sub-brand. I provided photography and visuals reflecting the character of the San Francisco Mission District that the residents, who are the focus of the campaign, can relate to.
Aimed to bring clients to their personalized landing pages, the campaign was based on a puzzle-coaster concept. Each of the mailings consisted of a brochure and a puzzle piece featuring a benefits of the insurance.

With speed of service as the central theme of the promotion, I created the company’s business cards, a direct mail campaign containing media kit wrap and a series of postcards and press advertising.
I designed yearly Media Kits for CMP (currently part of UBM) technology publications as well as catalogs and brochures for international conferences and accompanying events targeted at electronic design engineers.

The neighborhood art center needed a refined, enticing promotion tool for the workshop series. I reinforced the descriptions with visuals of the instructors' art and picked warm earthly colors for an intimate, inviting look.

A giveaway set of bookmarks, yoyos and freeze bees to encourage kids to visit their dental health website in a fun way. The gadgets relate stylistically and thematically to mysmilekids.com brand.
In addition to the featured logos, I created branding systems for Structura General Contractors, MEDA, MySmilekids and Rocket Postcards Print House.
